1.) Ability to work with others:
-I am able to get along with anybody in a working environment. How I view people at work and
in my free time differs. At work I know that it is my duty to get along with everyone so we can get the job done.
I am a likeable person anyway so it makes it easy for me. When I caddy, I work with caddies from all walks of life and
I work with the members who are extremely rich. Working with a widely diverse group of people is normal for me.
2.) Adapt to changing situations and learn fast:
-Expect the unexpected, all the time. Always stay on your toes, expect the worst and hope for
the best. When going into a situation I never think that everything is going to run smoothly, I think of 100 different
things that could go wrong and how I would fix the problem if it arose. How can you judge someone when the pressure
is not on. When all hell has broken lose, how someone reacts to that situation is when you find out the
true character of a person.
3.) Motivated:
-I stay motivated at work because I care about keeping other people happy. When I know that
people depend on me, letting them down is the worst case scenario. When I go to work I do not want to let down my family,
I do not want to let down the person who gave me the job and I do not want to let down the company I work for. When
I go to work I get into a groove and I am able to put forth my best effort all the time.
4.) Leadership Skills:
-I have had the opportunity to make many leadership decisions at work to help the team. I have
been captain and assistant captain of my sports teams in the past. I tend to lead more by example than by words.
I work extremely hard at whatever I do and I am very good dealing with people one on one. This is my favorite way to
find out a lot about a person. It's like you are putting all outside factors aside and you are able to interact very
well. I feel I have a unique way of getting things accomplished, a way that separates me from others in a good way.
When coming going up an incline I notice that 8 out of 10 people will use the escalator and 2 out of 10 will use the stairs.
I always take the stairs, we all have a vision of where we want to go, some just have a different way of getting there.
5.) Reasonable:
-I try to use reason when making decisions. I use common sense in the
work place. I will not give ideas that are so far out of the ordinary that there is almost no way that they can work.
I am fair with all of my-co-workers and hold nothing against them. Though when the situation arises I am not one to
backdown to a confrontation. If there is a problem between somebody and myself, I will talk the problem out with them
taking all factors into account, seeing their side of the coin and trying to take care of the problem as quickly as possible
because time is money.
6.) Loyal:
-I am a huge supporter of everything I believe in. I will stand by these things until the day
I die. This does not make me blind to the truth because I am also a realist. Except with my Redskins and Yankees,
which I am blind as a bat and will not change my views at all. I am loyal to my employer, my family and my friends.
If I am employed by a certain company, I know that I am a representation of that company and I will always put forth my best
effort to make sure that I help make my employer look as good as possible, all the time. When I go to Yankees games
in Baltimore, I always look my best with my clean clothes and clean shaven face. I always keep my Bernie Williams jersey
fresh and unwrinkled. I want fans of opposing teams to see me and say, wow this guy is a great representation of the
New York Yankees. He knows his baseball, he looks fresh and he gets loud without getting out of hand.
