I was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 12, 1983. I moved to Germantown, Maryland which is about
19 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. in December of 1987. My mother's family has lived in Ohio since the late 1800's,
when they came to America from Wales and Germany. My father's family has lived in the New York City region since the
early 1900's when they came to America from Sweden and France. The town I grew up in is no longer a town, it's
a small city. I grew up in a very diverse area which has tought me a lot about the world. When deciding to go
to college, I got accepted to Ohio State University, West Virginia University and Arizona State University. I went against
where everyone thought I was going to go, Ohio State and went a little crazy and attended Arizona State. I had a great
4 years in Arizona and learned that people on the west coast and people on the east coast are very different. I now
live in Brooklyn and work freelance event production.
